Craft312 Studio, led by senior partners Onur Karlıdağ and Deniz Karlıdağ, has revolutionized student accommodation with their design of the Koza Ipek Loft. Inspired by the dynamism, energy, and innovation of youth, the studio has created a space that perfectly encapsulates the essence of student life.

The Koza Ipek Loft stands out from conventional student dormitories with its unique features and strengths. Spanning an area of 8000 m2, the loft can accommodate 240 beds and serves as both a student guesthouse and a youth centre. Completed in May 2013, the building houses a restaurant, a conference room, study halls, rooms, and administrative offices, all designed to provide innovative, modern, and comfortable living spaces.

Every element of the interior design was meticulously crafted by Craft312 Studio and brought to life by various application firms. The rooms, designed for two people, are arranged in core cells on each floor, with two compartments for 24 people. This innovative layout ensures a comfortable and conducive environment for the students.

The project, which took place between 2012 and 2013 in Ankara, Turkey, was not without its challenges. The main hurdle was the application of the project within limited deadlines. However, the team's extensive research on dormitories around the world and their commitment to creating an original design helped them overcome this obstacle.
